The two-year program at the Lewiston Regional Technical Center, students are taught the basic skills required to work safely and efficiently in a modern automotive repair facility. Automotive Technology II furthers student exposure and experience by performing tasks on live work vehicles just as in industry.
The curriculum is based on the maintenance and light repair . In the class room you will learn theory by using a program called electude which is game based.NO TEXT BOOKS. Students will work towards certifications in Maine State Inspection,AC recovery and storage,ASE student certifications in all eight categories.You will also have the opportunity to compete in automotive competition to test your skills.So if your up to the challenge sign up today!
