Marketing introduces students to the ever changing and challenging world of marketing and business. Topics studied include the marketing mix, consumer behavior, external factors that influence marketing decisions, branding, and employability skills. Students will participate in live work opportunities for local marketing/business agencies.  Other activities include clips from Shark Tank, The Profit, and TED Talks.  Students will use these clips to make suggestions about marketing/business operations.

As a member of the Marketing program you have the opportunity to become a member of FBLA which is a student organization with opportunities for networking, community service and competitive events.  Students choosing to participate in FBLA must be enrolled in an LRTC program and participate in activities and fundraising in order to take advantage of these opportunities.
