LRTC’s Marketing program provides students with the opportunity to learn marketing concepts and to apply those concepts in real world/live applications. The program focuses on the 4 P’s of Marketing (Product, Price, Place & Promotion) and how each is used in developing a marketing strategy. Students will also learn about the psychology of consumer behavior, customer service, and external factors that influence marketing decisions from a consumer and business perspective. Career Development & Personal Branding (resume/cover letter/interviewing) and Employability Skills (attendance/on task/teamwork etc.) are also important learning objectives that help students to become successful employees and future leaders. Students will work with local businesses (on and off campus) to develop a variety of marketing campaigns.
