Students from the LRTC Student Council participated in the Maine Oxy Charity Golf Tournament with proceeds going to the Travis Mills Foundation. We donated over $500 to the foundation!
LRTC Automotive students Heath Woodrum and Owen Lingley earned 3rd overall place in the 2019 UTI Top Tech Challenge. The competition featured 41 teams of New England’s best automotive students. As a result of their finish Heath and Owen each won a $5,000 scholarship. Well done Gentlemen!!!
Several LRTC Electricity students competed in Augusta at the annual Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Craft Championships. Congratulations to Riley Dennison who won third place in the Level 2 division!
The Dempsey Challenge took place the weekend of October 1 & 2. Culinary students at the Green Ladle restaurant prepared food for almost 3,000 people who ate breakfast after their run/walk Saturday morning. That preparation included over 8,000 eggs and 450 pounds of vegetables!
