Today at the Maine Association of Career and Technical Educators conference in front of CTE teachers, administrators and staff our Director Rob Callahan was named Director of the Year! Mr. Callahan is an incredible leader providing unwavering support to his teachers and staff. We are beyond proud to have him as our LRTC director!

Congratulations to the CNA class of 23/24! Today students earned their CNA pin and certificates. We also were able to give one student from Leavitt High School the Varney scholarship in honor of Troy and Dulsie Varney. Mrs. Varney was a wonderful teacher, advocate and friend of LRTC. Congratulations to our nursing assistants!

Yesterday LRTC hosted Trades for Me a program designed to introduce girls to job opportunities in the trades. Our very own LRTC students were incredible examples of what women can achieve in predominantly male professions in the trades! Thank you to all the staff, chaperones and students for making this event awesome!
