Mechanical & Manufacturing, Engineering, Robotics

Innovate and create in the cutting-edge fields of mechanical engineering, manufacturing, and robotics. Gain hands-on experience with the latest technology as you design, build, and troubleshoot systems that shape the future.

Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering/Robotics

The Mechanical & Manufacturing Engineering/Robotics Program is designed to introduce students to various fields of engineering. Students will explore technologies and manufacturing systems that are currently used in industry. This program will cover a broad range of topics and a variety of engineering principles. A primary focus of this program will be to develop the ability to problem solve using science, technology, engineering and math as tools for solutions. MME is a two year program.

MME 1
Students will study the design process, digital and analog electronics, logic, electrical fundamentals & wiring, computer integrated manufacturing, 3D modeling with Inventor, technical drawings, 3D printing, G&M coding on computer numerically controlled mill and lathe, robotics assembly, coding/programming, drone assembly, programming, and flight, wind blade competition, design and use of the waterjet cutter, portfolio development.

You are also invited to join our LRTC 8023 First Robotics team!!

MME 2
Students will study mechanical systems, simple and complex machines, materials, advanced 3D modeling and 3D printing, computer integrated manufacturing, robotics construction and programming, microcontrollers, drone assembly, programming, and flight, wind blade design and construction, advanced G&M coding on computer numerically controlled mill and lathe, advanced use of the waterjet cutter, portfolio development.

You are also invited to join our LRTC 8023 First Robotics team!!
