Multimedia Technology
Multimedia is the combined use of text, graphics, sound, animation, and video. This course is an introduction to various multimedia programs and their specific uses. Students learn how digital design, still images, sound, and video can be digitized on the computer for personal, advertising and business use. Participants in this class will create multimedia projects on an Apple Mac Pro platform using the Adobe Creative Cloud. Creative Cloud is a collection of 20+ desktop and mobile apps and services for photography, design, video, web, UX and more.
Students create digital portfolios of their work upon completion of the program.
Multimedia 1 & 2
The course includes instruction in the following areas:
+ Operation of Apple computer systems and file management
+ Acquire, edit, design, manage, output, and archive digital imaging, graphic design and multimedia files.
+ Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign, Premiere Pro etc)
+ Students use software to create, manage and render the following: composite photographic layouts, + + + + graphic designs, page layouts, video productions and interactive multimedia solutions
